At this event, you’ll have the chance to connect with representatives from your local college who will share insights into their work with students and explain how they can support your recruitment efforts through Sector-based Work Academy Programmes (SWAPs). This is an excellent opportunity to access tailored recruitment support for any roles you’re looking to fill in the upcoming year.
What are SWAPs?
At the event you can meet with the team at MidKent College who will share insights into their work with students. We’ll also have representatives from the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) who will explain how they, in partnership with the colleges, can support your recruitment efforts through Sector-based Work Academy Programmes (SWAPs). This is an excellent opportunity to access tailored recruitment support for any roles you’re looking to fill in the upcoming year.

Visit Kent are hosting this event in partnership with our colleagues at MidKent College (MKC) and you’ll have the chance to take a look around the facilities first hand at the MidKent College campus. You’ll also learn about upcoming skills initiatives as part of our Tourism & Hospitality Skills Boost Project, and enjoy the chance to network with other local tourism and hospitality businesses in a festive setting.
This event is primarily for tourism and hospitality businesses based in areas covered by MidKent College who have campuses in Maidstone and Medway. However, you are welcome to sign up to this event if you are unable to attend the event in your own area. We can match you up with your local college at a later date.
