To celebrate National Apprenticeships Week the University of Kent’s Centre for Higher and Degree Apprenticeships will be hosting a half-day event examining the opportunities and advantages of higher and degree apprenticeships and strategies for effective engagement.

Senior policy makers and employers will be among the speakers and topics covered throughout the afternoon will include:

• Understanding higher and degree apprenticeships.
• Making the most of apprenticeship funding, including how to effectively spend your apprenticeship levy.
• Developing higher and degree apprenticeships within your workplace.

There will be plenty of time for a Q&A and the event will be followed by a networking reception with drinks and nibbles.

The event is free to attend and will be of interest to individuals and organisations professionally engaged with higher and degree apprenticeships, including large and small employers and University staff.
