Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI) is a remarkable organisation that combines purpose-driven manufacturing with a commitment to supporting veterans and individuals with disabilities. Operating as a thriving social enterprise, RBLI manufactures a wide range of products—from road and rail signage to bespoke print solutions—while empowering its workforce with meaningful employment and skill development.

On 29th October, KMFG members will gain exclusive access to RBLI’s factory and facilities, offering firsthand insight into their model of inclusive, high-impact manufacturing. The visit will highlight how RBLI blends innovation, community engagement, and operational excellence to deliver quality products and life-changing opportunities.

Come along to explore their production lines, meet members of the RBLI team, and discover how manufacturing can be a force for good.

Itinerary

• 10am – Arrival & Registration – Tea & coffee
• 10.15am – Introduction to RBLI, overview of what they manufacture & plans for new factory by Colin Harsant, Managing Director of Social Enterprise
• 10.45am – Guided tour of their current factory including their processes and the site of the new factory by Colin Harsant, Managing Director of Social Enterprise, Melanie Lay, Head of Sales and Natasha Wadhams, Senior Community Corporate Fundraising Manager
• 11.45am – Recap, Q&A & opportunities to get involved
• 12.00am – Depart

 On-Site Arrangements & Parking

Parking is available – please turn left on entry to the site and representatives will be there to greet you on arrival.

PPE – Hi Vis Vests will be provided.  Please ensure you wear closed toe shoes; without these you will be unable to take part in the tour.

RBLI maintains a strict no-smoking or vaping policy.
