Swale Borough Council invites you to a special ‘Introduction to Export’ event in collaboration with the Department for International Trade.

• Demystify export documentation
• Find out how to price your products and services in different markets
• Hear from local companies about their export journey, their top tips and how exporting has helped their company grow
  You will also have the opportunity to speak to a range of experts from
• The Department for International Trade – A British Government department working with businesses to develop international trade and improve export performance, revenue and employment.
• Swale Means Business – Offer advice, guidance and support for those looking to start, invest, expand or relocate their business in Faversham, Sittingbourne and the Isle of Sheppey.
• Handelsbanken – A full-service bank with a decentralised way of working, a strong local presence due to a nationwide network of over 200 branches and a long-term approach to customer relations.
• United Kingdom Export Finance – The UK’s export credit agency and a Government department, working alongside the DIT offering guidance and support for UK exporters of all sizes and in all sectors.
• Enterprise Europe Network – The network helps small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) make the most of business opportunities in the EU and beyond.
• Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce – The chamber can assist you in familiarising yourself with some typical international trade documentation, payment terms, import and export procedures and tricks of the trade.
• Kent International Business – A Kent wide initiative which aims to encourage Kent businesses to export and access overseas markets.
