The South East Local Enterprise Partnership (SELEP) is holding a European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) programme delivery event in Kent. The afternoon will include an overview of the EAFRD programme, the LEP’s priorities and how these align with one another to offer the opportunity to bid for funding under the newly announced open calls for applications.

Details will be available on the content of the sub-measures of the calls for applications, the role of the Rural Payments Agency, an overview of the strategic fit and an overview of the application process.

There will be workshops and the opportunity to ask questions about individual project ideas. The priority areas are:

• Rural Tourism
• Food Processing and
• Support for micro-businesses and SME’s
